Salmon Oil
Our natural Salmon Oil is extracted from the bodies of classic Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar). To ensure a meaningful supply of particulary long-chain omega-3 fatty acids, especially EPA and DHA, we may have to standardize the oil with parts from the Osteichthyes Family - depending on the Quality. The chopped fish bodies are sterilised in closed containers under low pressure. Centrifuges and separators are used to separate the components into solids, water and oil. The oil is subsequently cold-filtered and deodorised/distilled in accordance with the specific product requirements.
