Illipe Butter
Illipe Butter is a vegetable fat, which is extracted from the nuts of the shorea tree (Shorea stenoptera), which are endemic to the island of Borneo. The nuts are collected by the indigenous people directly from the forest floor, then washed and dried in the sun. The nuts are then gently mechanically pressed, filtered and subsequently refined into butter.
