Cosmetics
-
Well-tolerated base oil, especially for sensitive, irritated and mature skin. It is absorbed well by the skin because its fatty acid structure is similar to the composition of lipids in the skin.
-
Because of its high palmitic acid (C16:1) content, the oil has excellent regenerative properties; oleic acid (omega-9, C18:1) helps the active ingredients in cosmetics penetrate deep into the skin.
-
Good in combination with oils rich in linoleic acid (omega-6, C18:2) such as Evening Primrose Oil and Hemp Oil
-
Used in protective and regenerative creams, soaps and shampoos
